Elizabeth Regan

Telluride Lodge BOD

Elizabeth is physician-researcher and professor of medicine at National Jewish Health in Denver and a part time resident of Telluride Lodge. I have been coming to Telluride since 1986. I purchased by unit in Telluride Lodge in 2017 and love the community.

I am able to do a lot of work remotely and hope to retire in Telluride. I had the pleasure of working with Joel Lee and a wonderful group of scientists in Telluride to provide advice on managing our response to the pandemic. That experience bonded me more strongly to the community and I decided that this is a great community to work with and for.

I am originally from Massachusetts but came to Denver in 1981 to do my orthopedic residency. I practiced orthopedic surgery in Denver from 1985 – 2005. I transitioned to research, doing a PhD program at CU that I completed in 2006 and have been at National Jewish since 2006. I have two daughters and son-in-law, Kate, Luke and Melissa who also love Telluride, my new golden retriever, Indie, and a Corgi grand-dog named Nora Ruth, along with my “ex” George Lowe (another TL regular). We are climbers, mountaineers, skiers and outdoors people.
